Stata is a statistical software package for data manipulation, visualization, statistics, and automated reporting. Stata/MP ("Multiprocessing") is the fastest and largest edition of Stata, with our license allowing use of 2 cores in parallel.
Stock Status
Due to the Software Licensing Agreement, we are only able to issue this software to current Students, Faculty, and Staff of U-M. Alumni and Sponsored Affiliates are not eligible to purchase. License expires annually on June 30.
Stata will run on the platforms listed below. While Stata software is platform-specific, your Stata license is not; therefore, you need not specify your operating system when placing your order for a license.
