As of that day, appointments are no longer needed to pick up online orders; however, please do wait to receive confirmation that your order is ready before coming in for pickup.
As the next step in our public health informed return to service, Tech Shop now offers at-the-door pickup service for online orders.

Tech Shop is one of several areas across Information and Technology Services (ITS) with immediate student job openings. We are looking for personable U-M students who want to gain professional experience while attending classes. As part of our cutting edge technology support team, you will gain experience that commands attention from future prospective employers.

Departmental shipping service
Tech Shop ships anywhere in the continental United States (excluding P.O. Boxes); this does include both U-M campus and residential addresses. We ship via UPS, and fees are calculated at the time of checkout based on the shipping option selected. Fees include insurance.
For any products in the Tech Shop catalog, simply use the standard checkout process, choose Shortcode for your payment option, and enter your desired shipping address.
If you require a custom-configured Mac that does not appear in the Tech Shop catalog, you can use our Apple CTO order process. Please note that custom-configured products are not eligible for order cancellation or return.
Update: If you need non-Apple items not available through the Tech Shop catalog, we are no longer able to facilitate direct shipping for products in Marketsite+ punchout catalogs. To purchase products for your department through Marketsite+, please resume using your unit’s pre-COVID technology equipment ordering procedure.

22JunComing Soon to the Michigan Union
Categories: UpdatesTags: michigan unionTech Shop store locations are currently closed. A phased re-opening, in accordance with state and University guidelines, is being planned and will be announced soon.
That plan will include the grand opening of our newly renovated flagship location in the historic Michigan Union. The new store will feature a larger showroom, flexible collaborative space, dedicated consulting area, and more.
We are so excited to invite you - as soon as we safely can - into this bright new space.

Categories: UpdatesIf you're looking for Computer Showcase, you've come to the right place. Even though we have introduced a new name and website, we are still your University of Michigan owned and operated campus technology store.
Computer Showcase was a University of Michigan campus institution that began with a computer truck load sale in 1987. When the first brick-and-mortar location opened in 1988, “the Showcase” only offered consulting and demo computers for customers to test drive; computers could then be pre-ordered for later delivery.
Since then, we have become a full-service retail operation, carrying a complete inventory of personal technology products for same-day purchase. And so, in recognition of how technology has changed since we first opened our doors, we decided to adopt Tech Shop as our new name.
